Permissions and Data Access

Permissions

SmartTab requests the following optional permissions:

• identity: Used to obtain an access token for reading Gmail emails.
• topSites: Used to display and customize the "Top Sites" widget.
• favicon: Used to enhance the visual experience with website icons.

Gmail Access

To provide the "Latest Emails" widget, SmartTab requires access to your Gmail account. This is done using the "identity" permission to obtain an access token. We want to assure you that SmartTab does not send any private data, and your email content is processed locally on your device for display within the extension.

Data Handling

SmartTab does not send any private data to external servers. We do not use statistics or analytics to collect information about your usage. Your data, including Gmail access, is handled with the utmos

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to SmartTab at any time for any reason without notice.
